Turkey and Avocado Club Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
- 3-4 slices of cooked turkey breast
- 2-3 slices of crispy bacon
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 2-3 slices of tomato
- 1 leaf of lettuce (Romaine or Iceberg)
- 1 slice of cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
- Mayonnaise (optional)
- Mustard (optional)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
Toast the bread:
- Lightly toast the slices of bread to your preferred level of crispness.
Prepare the Spread:
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one slice of bread and mustard on the other slice if you like a bit of tang. You can skip this step or use your favorite spread.
Layer the ingredients:
- Start with the lettuce: Place a leaf of lettuce on the bottom slice of bread.
- Add the turkey: Layer the slices of turkey breast evenly on top of the lettuce.
