The slowest ever 100 by any cricketer in the history of ODI Cricket to date.
David Boon scored the slowest ever 100 off 166 balls against India in December 1991; Ramiz Raja scored the 2nd slowest 100 off 157 balls against the West Indies in the 1992 World Cup, while Geoff Marsh scored the 3rd slowest 100 off 156 balls against England in 1989. Mind-boggling.
Manoj Prabhakar scored 100-odd runs, consuming 150+ deliveries against the West Indies in 1994, and was banned for a few matches for his 'suspiciously' slow batting.
In those days, 100 in 150 balls was not considered slow. Just sheet anchor role
We Indian have an unbeatable
(In the future also) record 36 runs in 174 balls (60 overs ODI) by our Sunil Manohar Gawaskar, who opened the Indian innings and was unbeaten till the last ball.
Javed Miandad: The former Pakistan batter scored an unbeaten 63 from 167 balls against the West Indies in 1989 on a fast pitch in Perth.
Roshan Mahanama scored 101 off 153 balls in 1995. This must be in the 4th place.
